Feel free to take your time exploring my website. If, based on what you've read, you believe there's a potential fit, don't hesitate to reach out via email.
I view the initial sessions as a trial run, allowing you to gauge your comfort level. My therapeutic approach may not resonate with everyone, and that's perfectly okay. What matters most to me is that you find a therapist who feels right for you — someone with whom you feel safe, understood, and comfortable. A "right fit" involves feeling at ease with your therapist, understanding their therapeutic approach, and recognizing their expertise in addressing your specific concerns.
My practice specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure techniques, Mindfulness, In vivo techniques, and Progressive Muscle Relaxation, primarily for anxiety, panic, obsessive-compulsive disorder, social anxiety, and phobias. If your primary concerns differ, I may not be the most suitable therapist for you, and that's completely okay. I believe in taking on clients only when I genuinely believe I can provide the best assistance. If I feel otherwise, I'm more than happy to offer referrals to other practitioners who might be a better match for your needs.

I maintain a highly specialized practice with a specific focus on Generalized Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Phobias Stress, Burnout, and Panic Attacks. My approach is rooted in the philosophy of accepting clients only when I am confident in my expertise and specialization in addressing their unique concerns. Given the limited capacity of my small practice, I carefully assess whether a client's needs align with my available resources. Should I determine that I am not the most suitable provider for your situation, I am committed to offering referrals to other professionals who may better meet your needs.

Your privacy and trust are of utmost importance.
You can rest assured that you can talk about anything without fear of that information getting out.
If you have specific questions about how confidentiality works, you can ask during your during a free phone consultation or anytime during our work together.

Teletherapy can be effective for a range of mental health concerns, but it's crucial to note that it may not be the most suitable option for individuals experiencing severe or immediate suicidal ideation. In situations where there is a risk of harm to oneself, it is recommended to seek immediate in-person assistance, such as contacting emergency services or going to the nearest emergency room.
While teletherapy offers accessibility and convenience, the safety and well-being of individuals dealing with active suicidal ideation often require more immediate and hands-on intervention. If you or someone you know is experiencing thoughts of self-harm or suicide, it's essential to reach out to local mental health professionals, crisis hotlines, or emergency services for prompt assistance.

Overall, you can think of the first session as two-way interview where we can ask each other questions so we can begin to know each other. I’ll invite you to share more about yourself and we can also talk about what’s worked or not worked for your mental health in the past.
Some questions that I like to ask during a first session include:
What’s present for you in your life right now?
What goals would you like to reach by going to therapy?
What do I need to know about you to understand your current challenges?
You can ask me questions as well. You might be curious about about my experience or how future sessions work.
The most important part of a first session is that you see if you feel I’m a good fit for you. If you feel safe, accepted, and comfortable with me, we can discuss if you’d like to meet again.

I am credentialed with the following insurance companies: Aetna, Oscar Health, United Healthcare, and Oxford. Please reach out to me to see if I am credentialed within your state. In the event that I am not, I would be considered an "out of network" provider. If you wish to seek reimbursement for out-of-network benefits, I can furnish you with a Statement for Insurance Reimbursement form, commonly known as a "superbill." It is your responsibility to submit this form to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Please note that I cannot contact your insurance company to determine the specific out-of-network benefits covered by your plan.

About Your Right To Receive A Good Faith Estimate Of Expected Charges
Under the law, as a health care provider, I will give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
This estimate is called a "Good Faith Estimate" and explains how much your Counseling services will cost. Here are a few key things you should know about your Good Faith Estimate:
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
You may ensure that I give you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 3 business days before your Counseling services or item. You can also ask me for a Good Faith Estimate prior to scheduling.
If you receive a bill that is $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
It's recommended that you save a copy of your Good Faith Estimate for your records.
